Spiritual/healing properties:

Rose Quartz is often referred to as the "stone of love" due to its strong associations with emotional healing, compassion, and harmony. It is widely used in practices related to self-love, romantic relationships, and emotional balance, as its gentle energy is believed to encourage feelings of peace and unconditional love.

Formation:

Unlike quartz varieties such as amethyst or clear quartz, which form as distinct crystals, rose quartz typically develops in large, cloudy masses within pegmatite rock formations. Its delicate pink hue is caused by trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese embedded within the mineral structure during its formation. Because rose quartz does not naturally grow in well-defined geometric shapes, creating spheres requires significant craftsmanship.

Cutting & Processing:

Large raw chunks are first cut into rough cube-like shapes, and then they are placed into rotary grinders, where they are gradually ground down into spherical forms. The final step in the process involves multiple stages of sanding and polishing, which smooth the surface and enhance the stone’s soft, glowing appearance. The result is a perfectly round, polished crystal that can be used for meditation, energy healing, or decorative purposes.
